In order to provide proper, culturally-sensitive bilingual education that situates foreign languages within their cultural contexts, we immerse ourselves and our students in the culture of other countries, and learn about and celebrate foreign holidays such as Halloween and St. Patrick's Day. We do this in order to understand and practice their customs and traditions in a fun and entertaining way. This has fostered a respect for multiculturalism among our students.
